Jeff Durkin

jeff katieJeff Durkin recently formed the Butterfly Foundation to honor the life and legacy of Katie Durkin. He brings a 30-year business career in both Canada and the United States. He is president of Cornerstone Nutrition Inc. a business he founded in 2004 that provides nutrition products and services to the region's dairy industry. Previously, Durkin worked for 16 years with a large Canadian agribusiness firm, fulfilling several roles including sales, technical support, sales and marketing management, and general management. He has a  Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Guelph and has maintained active membership in industry associations. He formed an initiative called the Safe Community Coalition to advocate for safer and more secure schools following the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School. He and wife Ellen are parents of the late Katie Durkin and two school-age daughters. 

Ron Arp

Ron 250Ron Arp brings 30 years of strategic communications and public relations program development for corporations, businesses and nonprofits. He is the  president of Amplify Group, which has consulted more than 35 clients since 2008, including charitable wellness initiatives led by Hall of Fame linebacker Dick Butkus. He led communications and investor relations for the fitness company Nautilus (NYSE: NLS) and was a senior partner in the global PR giant Fleishman Hillard in Kansas City and Portland. Arp began his career as a radio broadcaster in Nebraska and Oregon, and directed programs for a beef industry trade group. He has degrees in journalism and economics from the University of Nebraska and was raised on a diversified Nebraska farm. He is president of the national Butkus Foundation, and brings experience from serving on business, school, church and nonprofit boards.

Arp and Jeff Durkin worked together in the 1990s developing strategic marketing programs for Durkin's agribusiness company and have maintained a friendship ever since.

Elizabeth Galanis-Miller

Elizabeth Galanis-Miller brings 15 years of business experience in sales and marketing, with a specialization in developing new business-oriented company initiatives as well as serving as a West Coast territory manager. She is fast becoming a key leader of Sealing Devices Inc., a 180-employee business serving military, aerospace, medical, industrial and commercial markets. She was recognized recently as a Young Leadership Professional through the Buffalo Niagara Partnership 360 program, where she will be leading and mentoring other up-and-coming business leaders. She is the Marketing Chair of the Gasket Fabricators Association, a respected national trade association for her industry. Galanis-Miller has a degree in sports management from Medaille College in Buffalo. She plays a very big part in her community by coaching several little league teams and maintaining presidency of the Wales Primary PTO for four years. She and Husband Kirk have two school-age sons.

Jenna Driver

Jenna2Jenna Driver, a certified teacher, holds a Master’s of Education in Childhood Education, Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Early Childhood Education, and is currently earning her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy.  For the last two years she has served as Co-President of the Wales Primary PTO. Jenna volunteers at Moving Miracles, a therapeutic dance/movement program for individuals with developmental disabilities and special needs, and also coaches youth soccer.  She has acted as the fundraising coordinator for the preschool where her children previously attended for four years. She and husband Daniel are parents of Alaina, Brandon, and Callie.
